Selma Rahman heads up esar consultants with over 20 years experience in her home country, Scotland. On returning from Bangladesh, her professional career began in Wester Hailes Festival Association, followed by Artlink, and as assistant general manager, Theatre Workshop, Edinburgh.

Equal Futures, a national cohesive community programme for young people, funded by the Scottish Executive. Selma is
Business Manager, Public Sector, to Alpha, Translating and Interpreting Services, Scotland’s leading linguistic service provider to the criminal justice sector. She was a
Member of the Scotland Advisory Committee – Ofcom for four years, and
also served as an Independent Assessor with OCPAS (Office of the Commissioner for Public Appointments Scotland) for in excess of six years
